The information is gathered from club volunteers and is valid only at the time of their observation. FR 42 Mill Creek Trail
Includes Park Trail, which loops around Steamboat Lake State Park from the Visitor Center to the Marina, and Forest Service Road 42 to the junction with 80 (Leads to Slater Park north or California Park south)

Great powder conditions. Avy danger high. Trail is marked. Intersection signs are out. Please pull any orange poles up that might be disappearing soon due to above average snowpack. Craig club groomed 80 2/10/23

Good cell coverage East of Sand Mtn. Spotty on West side and almost non exisitant in California Park.

FS 400 Seedhouse Rd Trail
Starts at trail head near Vista Verde Guest Ranch and connects to FS 431 and FS 433 and ends at the Zirkel Wilderness boundary.

This trail is open and has been groomed from Seedhouse TH to FSR 433 an up to Farwell Mtn. Intersection signs and poles are out.

Avy Danger is very high. Remote rugged area with limited to no cell coverage.

FS 409 Farwell Mnt. Trail
FS 409 links from the Hahns Peak Village west to FS410, to the east it links to FS 431 at Diamond Park. The north leg links to FS 505 through Little Red Park.

Very fluffy base. Best Powder in years. Avy danger very high. Please pull any poles up that might be disappearing due to above average snowpack. Groomed through Beaver Basin to little divide, left down Ellis Trail.

Note: NO CELL Coverage except from the top of Farwell. Poles and intersection markers are out.

FS 431 Lower Diamond Park Trail
Links Seedhouse Rd Trail to FS 409 at the south end of Diamond Park and connects to the Dome Peak Trail on the north end of Diamond Park.

FS 500 Divide Trail
Starts at Little Red Park at the intersection with FS 550 and continues north through Big Red Park and north up the the Continental Divide until it intersect with FS 550 again south of the Wyoming State line.

FS 550 Wyoming Trail
Starts at Columbine and runs north to Wyoming through Little Red Park, Crane Park, and Whiskey Park. Ties in with the Wyoming Trail system at the state line.

Great snow. Carpe Powder! Groomed from FSR 500 intersection to trail head. Please pull up any orange poles you that may be covered or almost gone. Other riders and the groomer rely on these poles for safety. Best snowpack in 10 years. Groomed only to FSR550/FSR 412 intersection.

Link from the Midnight Guest Ranch to the Wyoming Trail through Dead Mexican Park.

Trail Report
Due to budget challenges, the dead end trail from FSR 503 out to the Midnight ranch will not be groomed on a regular basis. ONLY THIS TRAIL. Contact club if would like to have this groomed. It was groomed 2/17/23 to Midnight Ranch because of a generous donation to the club. Thank you! FSR 501 from FSR 550 through Dead Mexican Park back to FSR 550 will be groomed. FSR 501 was groomed 3/17/23.

Orange Markers: The orange trail markers are located along the trail system. So if you stand with a marker at your back and face the center of the trail, to your RIGHT it's your quickest way back to Civilization. Note: NO CELL Coverage.
