The Trail Report posted here is for general information only and does not necessarily reflect the Trail Status at the time of your ride or the actual local trail conditions you may encounter. The information is gathered from club volunteers and is valid only at the time of their observation. Their observations may not meet your expectations and the conditions may vary from the time of posting. Conditions may vary with temperature, snow quality, type of terrain and usage. Please exercise caution at all times and be prepared for the unexpected. Remember that the trail is providing an off road experience that has inherent risks which demands constant rider preparedness, vigilance, caution, unimpaired reaction and smart choice.

Grooming Report/Trail Conditions
We have marginal snow conditions for grooming on the lower sections from the trailheads . We have about 8 inches at the trailheads and deeper as one goes up the mountain. There are varying depths from 1 to 3 feet of new snow. No trail marking on Black Mtn, Wilderness Ranch was marked onJan 26 where snow permits. Black Mtn and Wilderness are groomed where snow permits. No entry into California Park, too many trees down, but snowmobiles can get through it. We have lost our Wilderness Ranch Trailhead for the rest of the season, due to landowner. Hope to have it back next year. Access to the Wilderness Ranch section will be from the Freeman Trailhead
Other Information
Snow up high is good. Intensive off trail riding is still not excellent, but can be done. This last snow is pretty dry. The sun will determine how long our Trailheads will last.
